Forever Knight was nominated for fourteen Gemini Awards, and won once, when Nigel Bennett was named Best Supporting Actor in 1996.
The Gemini Awards (and the French-language equivalent, the Gémeaux) are Canada's top awards for television programs, equivalent to the Emmies in the United States. Gemini Awards have been awarded by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television annually since 1986.
