George Hamilton (born 12 August 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American film and television actor and occasional film director.
In the first episode of Forever Knight, "Dark Knight", when Nick Knight admits to Natalie Lambert that he can now manage about ten minutes in his sunbed, she quips that he's "a regular George Hamilton". This is a reference to Hamilton's being cast to play the part of Count Dracula in the movie Love at First Bite even though he is famous for his deep tan. Vampires, of course, cannot stand the sun; so having a heavily tanned man play the part of a vampire is ridiculous casting. Nick, even though managing to sustain a ten minute exposure to a sunbed, still has very pale skin.
