Detailed Story Recap[]

Janette confronts Schanke when he ventures into the basement of the Raven.
Vampire Lore[]
- In the basement of the Raven, Janette runs a sort of hostel for vampires from out of town.
- Very traditional vampires sometimes like to sleep in coffins.
- Larry Merlin, who we see in this episode, is a hacker that sets up the background for Nick's current identity in various databases--for a fee, but very quickly. He is also known to Janette, so he may be a resource used by the wider vampire community.
Fan Fiction[]
Quotes[]
Schanke: I promise you, I will be right back. Cross my heart.
Janette: Please don't do that in front of me.
Larry Merlin (speaking to Nick): You should have seen me in the first place, Nick. I would've set you up properly, saved you a lot of grief.
Schanke: That's what my accountant always tells me.
Merlin: I can fix this, but it's going to cost you a lot of money.
Schanke: He says that too.
