Of her fan writing, Calliope says:

The very first fanfic I ever wrote, back when I invented it when I was 10 <g>, was Charlie's Angels, and I'm not at all ashamed of that. If you're curious, drop me email and I'll explain why I feel CA is an underappreciated and more important show than it's given credit for being. Sadly, that fanfiction no longer exists anywhere outside my memories.

But my Forever Knight fanfiction was the first I ever had the courage to show anyone, and as such, that show and its fandom will always be special to me. I'm not sure if going public was related to the depth of the characters on the show, my own growing confidence as a writer, my own desire for feedback as a writer, or my growing familiarity with the internet. It's probably a combination of all of these, but I do find it interesting that I've never made my fanfiction for other fandoms public beyond a small circle of friends until very recently.
