Vampire Lore[]
Fan Fiction[]
Quotes[]
- Nick: Tried and convicted by the press. That's a trial you can never hope to win.
Notes[]
Behind the Scenes[]
- The German title for this episode is "Eine schneeweiße Weste" ("A Clean Slate"). The literal translation, "a snow white vest", is derived from a German idiomatic expression.
- Patrick McKenna, who plays a TV reporter covering the mayoral campaign, also appeared in the Season One episode Dance by the Light of the Moon, where he played the manager of Jilly's.
Continuity[]
Canadian Content[]
- Scott Walker, who plays TV reporter Steve Tate in this episode and in Dying for Fame, was a news anchor for CBC Radio One at the time of filming.
Goofs[]
- Schanke volunteers for Hiatt’s campaign. Shortly after his orientation, he phones Myra and asks if he is registered to vote. In Canada, everyone who fills out income tax forms is normally registered automatically.
- When Nick tells Natalie about his past life as an assistant professor, he refers to himself as "a certain indigenous vampire". However, "indigenous" means "native". Nick was from Brabant (Belgium), which means that he was certainly not native to either the US (where the flashback is set) or Canada (where he is talking to Natalie). The word is probably a mistake for "itinerant", which means transient, always moving on.
