Here's another example where things have been cut from the list that I put at the top, presumably because there is no heading for them in the infobox: profession, rank, nickname, etc. These are certainly important things about the characters—but, more importantly, they are also the sort of petty data that commonly gets put in infoboxes. With this sort of data, a list seemed best to me, i.e. the equivalent of the role of the infobox for you. If we don't put them in the box, then they need to go elsewhere.

Working them into the text is a possibility, of course. As I recall, you said at one point that all the information in an infobox needs to be worked into the article itself. As well as in the infobox, that is.

If you don't want it in the infobox, I can always put a list for these additional things near the top of the page. Greer Watson 01:22, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

I just reread this: it seems confused. (I need to get to bed.) What I'm trying to say is that I think some of these things (such as profession, rank, nickname) might be sought by the sort of people who look at infoboxes. Of course, anyone reading the article is going to get that Tracy's is a police officer who is a detective. But I gather there are those who only look at the infoboxes.
Tracy is maybe not the best example here, since she's so prominent a character. But profession/rank, nickname, and the like are items of information that we may also know for (some) characters who are not costars. We should consider making it possible to put it in the infobox.
