Nick tries to figure out who's responsible for a vampire population explosion that Toronto's experiencing, while Janette makes sure the community isn't overwhelmed.
This story is an AU that takes place during the season two premiere, "Killer Instinct", but pulls elements from later episodes of the series, especially "A Fate Worse than Death" and "Ashes to Ashes".
